We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical telephone support to customers, resolving issues and answering queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Commission products and systems on customer premises, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly.
- Carry out expert appraisals and preventive maintenance operations to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Perform corrective maintenance, repairing and replacing faulty equipment as needed.
- Write detailed service reports, documenting all work carried out and any issues encountered.
- Ensure on-call customer service as part of service contracts, providing 24/7 support to our customers.
- Promote our service offer during customer interventions, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
- Comply with our Quality, Safety, Health and Environment policy, participating in improvement actions to ensure we maintain the highest standards.
- Regularly transmit information for the administrative follow-up of files, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- At least 2 years' higher education or an electrical engineering degree.
- At least 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a technical or electrical maintenance role.
- Excellent English language skills, with the ability to read, write and speak fluently.
- Autonomy, availability, rigor, mobility, responsiveness, and good customer relations are essential.
- No obstacles to travel (70%), with the ability to work in a variety of environments and locations.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment rules, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
