Job Overview:
The Quality Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of quality assurance and control measures throughout the project lifecycle. This role is crucial in ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance/control measures within the project scope.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project quality and audit plan.
- Facilitate project control reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance/control audits across various project phases, including both office and construction environments.
- Manage and address non-conformities effectively.
- Lead and coordinate root cause analysis efforts to identify underlying issues.
- Organize and deliver quality-related training sessions for project teams.
- Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement.
Reporting Structure and Location:
- This position reports directly to the Quality and IMS Manager Europe.
- The role requires occasional travel within Europe based on project requirements and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (process, chemical, or mechanical) or a related discipline such as quality management, health, safety, environment, or industrial risks.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience: Previous experience in an industrial setting, preferably within the EPC sector.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management principles and auditing processes.
- Project Management: Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of IMS is advantageous.
- Analytical Skills: Understanding of root cause analysis techniques for addressing non-conformities and incidents is beneficial.
- Risk Management: Familiarity with essential risk management tools and methodologies is a plus.
