Join the Pacific Community (SPC) as a Climate Change Project Manager and contribute to the organization's efforts in supporting development in the Pacific region.

The Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Programme (CCES) is a key initiative of SPC, aiming to strengthen and streamline actions on climate change. As a Climate Change Project Manager, you will coordinate the implementation of climate change projects, provide technical guidance, and support the development of projects for the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Adaptation Fund (AF), and other climate finance sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the management and implementation of climate change projects
  • Provide technical guidance and awareness to stakeholders on climate change project operations and development processes
  • Support the Climate Finance Coordinator in liaison and engagement between SPC and climate change donors
  • Line management and mentorship of the Climate Finance Officer

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, management, economics, finance, or business administration
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in climate change project management and/or development
  • Proven experience in project development and implementation for GCF, AF, or other multilateral sources of climate finance
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
