Culinary Specialist

Newrest is seeking a skilled Cook III to join our team at the George Bush International Airport. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our airline clients.

• Prepare and cook hot food items, including meats, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food sanitation standards.
• Visually inspect and select the freshest ingredients for menu preparation.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.

• Culinary degree or related experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• 3 years of previous experience in fine dining cookery preferred.

• Excellent cooking and food preparation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
