ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborating closely with Senior Fund Analysts to assist in the Sourcing and Investment Due Diligence of new funds and strategies:
· This entails building and nurturing relationships with fund managers, conducting initial assessments of investment managers, and participating in discussions with these managers;
· Performing quantitative performance evaluations and establishing peer group comparisons;
· Maintaining databases and enhancing existing analytical tools.
· Preparing foundational work for investment due diligence reports and associated written research.
· Continuously monitoring funds on the watchlist/buylist.
· Assisting in the development of strategy forecasts for designated strategies within long-only equity, private credit, or hedge funds.
· Contributing to the production and upkeep of asset class/industry research that outlines the essential characteristics, trends, and drivers of specific strategies.
Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree in Engineering or Business with a specialization in Finance or Financial Engineering.
· Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Self-motivated individual.
· Enthusiastic about investing with a solid understanding of financial markets; prior internship experience in market finance is advantageous.
· Team-oriented with a proactive approach in a dynamic environment.
· While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with quantitative skills and programming knowledge (R, Matlab, MySQL, etc.).
· Proficient in English (both written and spoken), with working knowledge of French being a plus.
· Must have a compulsory internship agreement.
