About the Role
Suez is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering & Construction department, you will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing and supply chain activities for our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for each project, in collaboration with the Purchasing team and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve disputes.
- Procure equipment and services necessary for project execution, ensuring optimal pricing and delivery terms.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project timelines, quality, and costs are met.
- Develop and maintain accurate project reports, ensuring timely and transparent communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (generalist or mechanical) with a proven track record in purchasing leadership or procurement management in an industrial setting.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of industrial experience and specialization in purchasing and team management.
- Experience in the water treatment and waste management industry is a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
- Fluency in English is required.
