The Tamayyaz Program is a Nationalization Development initiative designed to empower Saudi individuals with essential skills and knowledge for various roles in the hospitality sector. This program combines theoretical learning with practical on-the-job training to ensure comprehensive development.
About the Hotel: Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, stands as a prominent landmark near the Masjid Al Haram and the Holy Ka'aba. This towering 76-story establishment is a key part of the Abraj Al Bait Complex and symbolizes exceptional hospitality in the Holy City. With 1618 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, the hotel offers luxurious amenities and five-star services that promote a serene atmosphere for guests.
Position Overview- Deliver consistent, professional, and friendly service to guests while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Prepare and present all food items for a la carte and buffet menus in accordance with hotel standards and recipes.
- Ensure proper product rotation in all storage areas to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Measure, mix, knead, and shape dough or batter, and bake various bread and pastries.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Conduct quality checks on all baked goods before they are served to ensure the highest standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages.
- Minimize food waste through effective rotation, labeling, and storage practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- The Tamayyaz Program is exclusively for Saudi Nationals.
- Open to candidates with minimal to no prior experience, including recent graduates and those with up to six months of relevant experience.
- Basic proficiency in English is required.
- A strong passion for the hospitality industry is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
- A collaborative team player who actively supports colleagues.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts based on departmental requirements.
- Ability to maintain focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
