Job Description
As a Supplier Quality Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout our supply chain. You will conduct rigorous assessments of supplier facilities, identify areas for improvement, and implement development plans to drive continuous enhancement.
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough audits of supplier quality management systems (QMS) and nuclear safety practices at their respective locations.
- Develop Actionable Reports: Generate detailed assessment reports outlining findings, recommendations, and proposed improvement strategies for suppliers.
- Foster Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices and insights gained from supplier assessments with our internal team while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Promote Safety Culture: Champion a strong emphasis on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) throughout our supply chain network.
- Drive Process Optimization: Propose innovative projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness within the supplier ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as quality management or engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is essential. Familiarity with safety culture training and/or ISO 19443 standards is highly desirable.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience, including proven track record in conducting audits and assessments.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Ability to create clear and concise reports for key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations as required.
