The BQL Team & Internship Opportunity
Our BQL team specializes in a diversified long/short strategy, leveraging proprietary algorithms to identify investment opportunities. As an intern on this team, you will directly support the portfolio managers by:
- Participating in the investment process: validating signals and contributing to portfolio construction.
- Handling front-office tasks such as monitoring corporate actions, dividends, and stop losses.
- Developing reporting tools and spreadsheets using Tableau.
- Contributing to the research and development of new proprietary algorithms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a highly motivated individual with a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Finance. A strong interest in asset management and a desire for a first full-time experience in a hedge fund environment are essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Python, Tableau, and SQL is required. A solid understanding of Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Financial Markets is also crucial.
Previous experience in banking, consulting/auditing firms, or asset management would be advantageous. We value teamwork, flexibility, and a proactive approach. Fluency in French is beneficial.
