Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Cryogenic Process & Operations Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Ground Systems team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing Cryogenic or conventional Fluidic Ground systems, collaborating closely with development teams and industrialization functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-level requirements and preliminary technical specifications for Cryogenic or conventional Fluidic Ground systems, ensuring seamless integration with other development teams and industrialization functions.
  • Design and implement efficient systems, leveraging available solutions (COTS) and innovative concepts to reduce time cycles and ownership costs.
  • Manage selected partners and suppliers throughout the detailed design and implementation phases, ensuring technical and operational qualifications.
  • Contribute to maintaining the definition of the MaiaSpace overall launch system, particularly with respect to Ground/Board and Ground/Ground interfaces.
  • Lead the deployment and testing phase of the ground means, and participate in system tests and first launch campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent in fluid mechanics engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in liquid propulsion and cryogenic fluidic systems and operations.
  • Sound knowledge of cryogenic fluids behavior and related ground means, including PID software and CFD simulation.
Skills
  • Autonomous and proactive attitude towards problem-solving and resolution.
  • Team player able to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Knowledge or experience of Agile methodologies.
