We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Jacobs, working on the ITER Project in France.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction activities on the ITER site.
Key Responsibilities- Implement project procedures, including interface and support with Construction Quality Inspectors, Resident Engineers, and HSE personnel.
- Assist in reviewing subcontractor technical submittals and ensuring auditable implementation of Nuclear safety PIA and PIC at the site.
- Lead by example as a safety role model to all parties and review contractor's site-specific HSE and Quality Plans.
- Validate contractor's progress and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate cross-site support services, including scaffolding, lifting, and handling, and assist in resolving work issues between project subcontractors and Construction Supervisors.
- Mechanical background with Construction Site experience preferred.
- Nuclear construction site-based experience (desirable).
- Experience with industrial completions and quality management systems (desirable).
- Ability to lead and provide clear and concise direction to multiple contractors.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
