About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Engineer to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of parts and components to our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all purchase needs generated by our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring that all necessary parts and components are procured in a timely manner.
  • Process files on a daily basis, including issuance, processing of purchase orders, preventive follow-up, rescheduling of delivery dates, handling of shortages, and arbitration of disputes.
  • Strengthen operational communication management with suppliers, including product manufacturing files, product modifications introduction, forecast, obsolescence management, and disputes resolution.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure the performance of actions taken, including inventory turnover rate, delivery times, and availability rate.
  • Organize supplier performance reviews and manage supplier crises if necessary, building recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead an improvement approach of supplier performance with internal and external action plans in connection with purchasing, quality, technical, and production departments to secure production.

Requirements

  • Coming from an Industrial Engineering background, with expertise in Scheduling, Supply Chain, and at least 4 years of experience in a similar position acquired in an industrial environment, particularly in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial vehicle transportation sectors.
  • Proficient in an ERP system like SAP, and fluent in English.
  • Basic technical knowledge (bill of materials, reading of plans, standards) and good communication skills to interact with different departments of the company (Design office, part managers, Buyers, Methods department).
