Ville de Villeneuve-saint-Georges is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Assistant to contribute to our finance team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including:
- Establishing and maintaining regulatory orders with precision.
- Accurately entering revenue titles and ensuring their regularization, particularly when revenue service agents are unavailable.
- Actively participating in financial training workshops to enhance your expertise and stay abreast of industry best practices.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in administrative roles or contractual employment. Prior experience in a similar position is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles (a degree in this field would be an asset).
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and public accounting nomenclatures.
- Proficiency in expenditure chain procedures, including commitment, liquidation, and mandating.
- A thorough understanding of public procurement principles.
- Familiarity with regulatory provisions governing cash registers.
Technical Proficiency:
- Mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications.
- Experience and proficiency in using CIRIL software.
- Ability to draft clear and concise letters and emails.
Personal Attributes:
- Demonstrate responsiveness, punctuality, diligence, and a commitment to adhering to regulatory procedures.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to effectively communicate with superiors.
