We are seeking a highly skilled Power Control Engineer to join our team in the Energy, T&D Business Unit. As a key member of our Power Control & Grid Rules unit, you will work closely with our head of department to develop and implement innovative solutions for solar power plant, wind power plant, and BESS regulation systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the technical definition of regulation systems for renewable energy sources
- Develop control algorithms and generate PLC code using Matlab/Simulink
- Configure communication interfaces and generate regulator models in Power Factory
- Integrate and commission regulation systems and conduct tests with utilities
- Prepare technical and commercial offers for PPC/PMS solutions
- Engineering background (ENSAM, CENTRALE LILLE, INSA LYON, ESIGELEC, SUPELEC, other)
- 5 years of experience in power control systems
- Rigorous, with good interpersonal skills and a good listener
- Ability to work in a team and have a sensitivity for automation and databases
