Position: Electrical Engineering Trainee
Company Overview: Become part of RATP EPIC, a prominent public transportation entity in Paris.
1. Role and Responsibilities
Your Mission:
Guarantee the High Voltage electrical supply for RATP's traction and illumination systems:
- Oversee and adjust the network
- Modify configurations in response to incidents or failures
- Make informed decisions regarding power distribution and monitor energy levels
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for system recovery when required
- Prioritize repairs of equipment
Assist in maintenance operations on installations:
- Schedule maintenance activities
- Alter power schematics as necessary
- Approve installation shutdowns based on network conditions
- Notify management for corrective actions on TDE equipment
Engage in managing operational incidents in real-time:
- Adhere to operational protocols
- Provide and evaluate available data for operators
- Make decisions during critical situations
2. Candidate Profile
What to Anticipate:
- 1st year: Familiarize with the role, operational procedures, and gain practical experience
- 2nd & 3rd year: Develop expertise in network management, incident resolution, and broaden knowledge across various sectors within the organization
Qualifications:
BTS, BUT in Electrotechnics
Profile:
Collaborative team member and self-sufficient worker
Work Environment:
Location: Paris 12th arrondissement
Shift work: alternating day, night, and weekend shifts
