Job Responsibilities:
- Equipment Setup and Preparation: Configure and prepare cylinders and printing presses according to job specifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Process Monitoring: Closely monitor the printing process to detect defects or potential problems, taking prompt action to prevent downtime.
- Quality Control: Make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality printing output.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Regularly maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper operation and extend its lifespan.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production goals within deadlines, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience with cylinders or in printing is essential for success in this role.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of offset printing machines and operations is required.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret job specifications and make adjustments accordingly, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with the ability to detect printing defects and take corrective action.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
