Position Overview
The Technical Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that thermal insulation and waterproofing products within the SOPREMA portfolio meet all necessary technical standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that products adhere to French regulations and applicable standards, particularly European guidelines, for market readiness.
- Acquire, update, and renew essential technical documentation required for product commercialization.
- Facilitate technical training sessions for the sales team to enhance their understanding of product specifications.
- Act as a representative for SOPREMA in discussions with regulatory bodies, standardization organizations, and industry associations.
Specific Tasks Include:
- Requesting and obtaining technical opinions or application documents, conducting new technical investigations, and securing European technical assessments.
- Coordinating product certifications and approvals with relevant authorities and suppliers.
- Drafting internal documentation necessary for product marketing and supporting the marketing team in developing promotional materials.
Involvement in New Product Development:
- Lead projects within your area of expertise to drive innovation.
- Provide technical insights and expertise to project teams.
- Assess market demands in relation to regulatory and technical specifications.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a BAC+5 degree or equivalent from an engineering school, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical roles within the construction materials sector, evaluation organizations, or mechanical/thermal engineering firms. Experience in insulation or roofing is preferred.
