Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Risk Director to lead our company-wide risk and regulatory compliance initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement the risk and regulatory framework, ensuring a robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework is in place. Your expertise will be essential in designing and overseeing the company's risk management program, including policies, procedures, assessments, methodologies, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a robust ERM framework, including policies, procedures, and governance framework.
  2. Provide independent oversight, review, and challenge of Risk Management information, promoting an effective risk management and compliance culture.
  3. Develop and adhere to the company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, designing and implementing internal controls to mitigate risk.
  4. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management, maintaining internal control standards and implementing audit points.
  5. Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, data, legal, IT, and external regulators.
  6. Stay up-to-date on regulatory compliance, including MiFid and technical standards.
  7. Develop real-time monitoring and surveillance dashboards to track KPIs/OKRs and respond to business performance.

Requirements
  1. A minimum of 10 years' risk management experience in the EU, with a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
  2. Experience working in an EU MIFID/EMIR regulatory environment, with a keen eye for detail and strong technology orientation.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and key regulatory regimes.
  4. Attention to detail, accuracy, and proactive prioritization and execution skills.
  5. Effective integration with different departments, self-motivation, and a good team player.
  6. Fluent English and French speaker.
