At Clinical Professionals Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning and qualification of our utility and process systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide field support for the commissioning and qualification of utility and process systems, including Black and Clean Utility generation, storage, and distribution systems, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Environmental Monitoring System, Compounding and SIP/CIP system, and other systems as required.
- Execute and review commissioning and qualification test protocols, including sequence of operation testing, control loop tuning, pump and fan testing, alarm and interlock testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support the integrated commissioning of the DeltaV system software, hardware, and interfaces to the various process and utility systems.
- Ensure the reliable operation of automated systems by providing hands-on engineering support to troubleshoot control system process control and operational issues.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely decisions are made to minimize cost, timeline, and quality impact on the project.
- Guide and support field execution to ensure equipment is commissioned according to LONZA standards and procedure and in line with cGMP.
- Document issues found through KNEAT and raise project changes as required to ensure resolutions can be implemented in a timely manner.
- Provide coaching and training to team members to develop overall team knowledge to ensure fast-track commissioning can be achieved.
- Ensure C&Q field execution is completed in a safe manner and following Lonza HSE standards.
- Bachelor's degree or trade qualification in Engineering (Electrical / Chemical / Process Control, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of the Commissioning and Qualification team.
- 5 to 10 years process commissioning experience (essential) with 3 years utility system commissioning experience (preferred).
- 3 years (minimum) DeltaV DCS hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting experience (essential) including use of DeltaV Operate / Live and Control Studio.
- Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Requirements and Codes of Practices for the Life Sciences industry (desirable).
- Experience using KNEAT for CQV test execution (desirable).
- Good Level in English, written and spoken / German a plus.
- Considerable experience with cGMP.
- Field CQV execution experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to work shift/extended hours as required and in line with legal requirements for working time regulations.
