Job Overview:We are in search of a PIPEFITTING TEAM LEADER (M/F) for our subsidiary located in Le Port, on the beautiful island of La Réunion.
Project Insight:
In 2018, we launched our PIRIOU REUNION subsidiary to enhance our ship repair services in the Indian Ocean region.
What began with just 2 employees has now grown to a robust team of over 40, encompassing production, business management, procurement, and administrative roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of pipe fitters, including both permanent and temporary personnel.
- Engage in work scheduling, task assignment, and ensure objectives are met.
- Facilitate communication within the team, uphold internal regulations, and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Monitor productivity levels, collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors, and manage inventory.
- Ensure safety protocols for both the team and vessels, along with quality assurance of work performed.
- Provide training opportunities to enhance skills and share expertise.
This role is offered on a permanent basis.
Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will possess a technical qualification in pipe fitting or boilermaking, along with substantial experience in a comparable position and familiarity with ship repair processes.
We seek individuals who are organized, meticulous, and energetic, with strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Availability to address both customer and team needs is essential.
