About the PositionWe are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Sustainables Fuels and Refining team based in Paris, France. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading process design activities, managing complex design problems, and coordinating technical interfaces with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead process design activities, including process simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, and P&IDs.
- Manage complex design problems and provide technical support for process-related subjects.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with clients, suppliers, partners, subcontractors, licensors, and engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to R&D activities, develop feedback notes, and participate in the development of methods, tools, procedures, and technical guidelines.
- Organize and lead process design reviews and P&ID reviews.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up operations of facilities in France and abroad.
We are looking for a motivated and independent individual with a strong background in process engineering and process design. You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in process engineering and process design, with a proven track record of managing small teams and leading complex design projects.
You should be proficient in process simulation tools, including HYSYS, PRO II, and ProSim. You should also have a strong understanding of process design principles, including modeling and process simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, and instrument and equipment sizing.
You should be fluent in English and have a basic knowledge of French or be willing to learn it. You should also have a diploma in chemical engineering or process engineering.
