About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Lawyer to join our team in Paris. As a member of our Project Finance team, you will be working on a wide range of projects, including renewable energy, clean energy, energy (non-renewable), oil & gas, mining and metals, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely
- Creating solutions using your legal knowledge, applying effective research techniques
- Challenging and testing advice against legal compliance and risks
- Being proactive to pursue and expand legal knowledge to ensure legal knowledge and technical expertise up to date
- Utilising client focus initiatives in terms of driving understanding and monitoring service levels of their individual client needs
- Engaging with knowledge resources effectively and collaborating in knowledge initiatives for the Firm
- Managing matters with a disciplined practice - comprising of timely timesheet submission, adhering to matter opening and conflicts clearance processes
- Adopting best delivery tools: templates, Legal Support Centre, Resource Management, Legal Project Managers, Matter Balance Reports
About You
We are looking for a mid-level lawyer, English-law qualified and trained, who can demonstrate proven post-qualification experience in project development, project finance and export credit finance. Your knowledge and experience will probably have been gained at a leading practice with a reputation for work in this area.
