Position Overview:
The Friends of Games, Music, and Traditional Tales is a cultural and recreational organization committed to the safeguarding and enhancement of folklore. They collaborate with local educational institutions.
Your Role as a Civic Service Volunteer:
Objectives:
- Cultivate civic consciousness among youth through engaging gaming experiences.
- Aid in the personal and communal growth of participants.
- Contribute to the development of a local community framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Share your enthusiasm and expertise in various games with diverse groups (children, adolescents, adults, seniors).
- Assist in the promotion of gaming initiatives.
- Participate in regular game nights organized by the association.
- Support educational and extracurricular gaming programs.
- Contribute to the communication and activities of the organization.
- Help manage and enhance the inventory of games.
- Engage in community events such as forums, heritage celebrations, and global gaming festivals.
Essential Skills:
As a Civic Service Volunteer, you are encouraged to share your ideas and contribute to the enhancement of your role.
Training Requirements:
Completion of First Aid and Civic Education training is required.
Support and Guidance:
You will receive mentorship from two experienced guides throughout your service.
