We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Alice & Bob, a pioneering company in the development of a universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. As a key member of our Quantum Error Correction team, you will play a crucial role in improving the design of our fault-tolerant architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of our fault-tolerant architecture, including the improvement of QEC schemes and fault-tolerant logical gate designs.
- Collaborate with our Hardware design & analysis team to assess the performance of proposed architectures based on realistic hardware modeling and noise models.
- Develop internal architecture performance analysis tools to support our research efforts.
- Contribute to the development of our hybrid classical-quantum computing architecture, including decoding algorithms.
- PhD in Quantum Error Correction (QEC) or a related field.
- 3+ years of research experience in the field of QEC or equivalent experience.
- Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author and participating in top conferences in QEC.
- Expertise in fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures and experience with numerical simulations of fault-tolerant architectures.
