The Field Service Engineer position is pivotal within our Protein division, providing essential support to our clients around the clock. Your responsibilities will encompass assembly, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and assisting with new initiatives. You will report to the Aftermarket Service Manager and collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal service for our protein machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site assistance utilizing your electrical and mechanical expertise.
- Oversee installations, generate service and visit reports, and provide technical support for our equipment; offer guidance on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades.
- Monitor machinery performance and communicate any trends to your supervisor.
- Educate clients on maintenance, operation, safety, and cleaning protocols for the equipment.
- Collaborate with the aftermarket team to execute service activities.
- Identify opportunities for additional machinery or services to enhance customer satisfaction and relay this information to the sales team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery servicing is preferred, though candidates with less experience may be considered.
- A qualification in industrial maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food industry equipment such as freezers, fryers, ovens, and processing lines is a plus.
- Proficiency in PLC systems, including Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley, and MOVEX for troubleshooting, as well as experience with SalesForce and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are essential.

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in location, with a focus on servicing clients across various regions.
