About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Backend Engineer to join our Software Team at Kiln, a leading enterprise-grade staking platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
  • Develop and implement software features in our Golang services (data aggregators, APIs, Blockchain Transaction crafting,...).
  • Take part in automation, testing, and CI/CD processes.
  • Participate in code review, bug fixing, code maintenance.
  • Ensure that our services communicate with each other seamlessly, have minimal downtime, and recover quickly.
  • Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company).
  • Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices.
  • Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges.
Requirements
  • +3 years of experience as Software Engineer (Backend), designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products.
  • +1 year of Golang programming — professional experience in a production environment.
  • Familiar with container/orchestrator technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and Continuous Integration.
  • Ability to ship opinionated architectural choices and code, and to share software best practices.
  • Proven interest in Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency and smart contracts.
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in both French and English.
