Position Overview

SOBECA, a prominent subsidiary of Groupe FIRALP, specializes in the design and construction of networks for energy, data, and fluid distribution. With a vast network of agencies nationwide, we provide extensive services in electrical systems, digital networks, connected territories, gas distribution, and urban heating solutions.

We are currently seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time role:

Heavy Machinery Operator for Civil Engineering Projects (H/F)

Reporting to the site supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy machinery for various tasks including excavation, leveling, handling, and lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery for excavation, leveling, handling, and lifting operations
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Assist with general site tasks and marking
  • Uphold safety standards on the worksite

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a valid driver's license along with CACES certifications 1, 2, and 4, and have a minimum of two years of experience in the public works sector. Reliability, motivation, independence, and teamwork are essential attributes for this role.

Additional Information:

The selection process includes an initial email contact, followed by a phone discussion and a meeting with the hiring manager.

Working hours will be scheduled monthly, with overtime compensated accordingly.
