Site and Testing Supervisory Engineer

At Davidson, we're committed to excellence in construction and testing. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Site and Testing Supervisory Engineer. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with site procedures and quality standards.
- Assist contractors in interpreting prime contractor's plans and ensuring adherence to quality and control commitments.
- Monitor compliance with quality criteria and handle non-conformities in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in clearing hold points and witness points, as specified in the LOMCs.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation related to the work.
- Monitor day-to-day verification sheets produced by the contractor in accordance with the monitoring schedule specified by the contract.
- Verify the results of verifications conducted by the contractor.
- Ensure adherence to laws and regulatory provisions regarding health, safety, and the environment.
- Organize and coordinate contractors on the project.
- Ensure safety provisions are complied with during the execution of the works.
- Transfer facilities to testing.
- Participate in the preparation of documents required for testing a given facility.
- Interpret tests for a facility or building.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in one of the following technical specialities: chemical engineering, electricity, ventilation, mechanical systems, distributed control/automation systems.
- French language skills to produce deliverables such as test documents, general test programmes, acceptance tests, comment sheets, interpretations, and recommendations for technical solutions.
- Knowledge of standards such as RCC (M, E, or X), NFC, DESP, Eurocodes, DESP, CODAP, and CODETI.
- A love for being on the ground, in proximity to the equipment and operators.
- A team spirit and a capacity for dialogue.
