About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Architect to join our team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for developing safety concepts and context for our ICs, performing safety analyses and safety work products, and participating in safety audits and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop safety concepts and context for ICs, including understanding all aspects of technology, architecture, and function.
- Perform IP, SoC, or System level safety analyses and safety work products in an ISO26262-related context.
- Participate in Safety Audits and Assessments, including explaining and preparing for auditors and assessors.
- Support NXP customers in using safety work products developed by the NXP Safety Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety.
- Good understanding of Hardware/Software development techniques following ISO26262 development process.
- Hands-on experience in at least two safety-related product developments, including Technical Safety Concept definition and verification phases.
- Knowledgeable in Safety Analyses Techniques (FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, Reliability) and related tools (Medini).
