Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic (m/f)

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Diagnosing, disassembling, and reassembling mechanical components
  • Repairing and overhauling internal combustion engines, transmission systems, and adjusting steering mechanisms
  • Inspecting and fine-tuning chassis
  • Installing vehicle accessories
  • Planning maintenance activities
  • Organizing and maintaining tools and workspaces
  • Preparing documentation for workshop operations
  • Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure vehicle functionality, comfort, and safety
  • Diagnosing and refurbishing specialized equipment
  • Providing technical assistance to workshop staff

This position is primarily during the day, with potential standby duties during busy periods.

Qualifications
  • Technical education in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (BEP/BAC/BTS) in fields such as Heavy Vehicles, Agricultural, or Construction Machinery
  • Experience ranging from 2 to 10 years in maintenance of agricultural, heavy vehicles, or construction machinery
  • Familiarity with fundamental heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance guidelines, diagnostic instruments, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, as well as specialized equipment (e.g., tail lifts, cranes)
  • Competence in using computer tools and software
