This role is essential for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. The Security Operations Manager will oversee security measures and coordinate protective services to maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing security personnel, both on-site and remotely, during operations.
- Providing security services and personal protection to staff during their duties.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
- Responding promptly to security incidents and managing crisis situations effectively.
- Conducting risk assessments and preparing situation reports.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of security service providers to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Contributing to the formulation of policies and procedures related to security operations.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of security trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in a relevant field such as security management or risk assessment.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in security management or related fields.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and practices.
- Experience in personal protection and crisis management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or French, with proficiency in additional languages being an advantage.
