Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a pharmacist manager at Hôpital Privé La Casamance. As a pharmacist manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate medical prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct pharmacovigilance and medical device vigilance to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Manage inventory and supplies, including medications and medical devices.
• Oversee stock management and inventory control.
• Dispense medications and medical devices in a sterile environment.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
• Participate in risk management and quality assurance initiatives to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote safe medication use and medical device management.
• Manage the preparation of chemotherapy bags.

Requirements

• Pharmacist degree and valid license.
• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical safety protocols in a hospital setting.
