We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team at ACCOR. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient database systems using MS SQL Server, Google BigQuery, or other structured/unstructured database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data warehouses to support business insights and decision-making.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for reporting and data integration.
- Manage data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement APIs to interface with databases and other applications.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and normalization between systems.
- Continuously identify areas for database performance improvement and proactively address bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance data management strategies.
Requirements
- Experience as a SQL Database Engineer or similar role.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency in MS SQL Server and Google BigQuery or similar databases (both structured and unstructured data).
- Experience with other database platforms such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL.
- Strong Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- API Knowledge: Experience with APIs and integration into database systems is a must.
- Data Warehousing: Strong experience in managing and maintaining data.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and database optimization.

- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience working within the sector is beneficial.
