Job Description

The RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Offboarding Specialist to join its ER/Compliance Offboarding Team. As a key member of the Shared Services environment, this role will provide direct and indirect support to employees, managers, HR professionals, and HR Employment Counsel across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Reduction in Force (RIF) processes, including involuntary termination with severance payout following standard RTX Broad-Based Severance Plan
  • Provide guidance and decision-making input to HR professionals for special circumstances on various RIFs
  • Manage and troubleshoot employee RIF questions across the Value Stream on behalf of the customer experience
  • Audit and send out RIF packets to HR professionals, including analyzing changes
  • Create and manage manual spreadsheets to support the severance payout process
  • Research and resolve inquiries regarding the payout process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely payout
  • Process signed severance agreements and ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in HR Operations
  • Previous experience working in a Shared Service environment with a focus on Offboarding
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Ability to partner and interact with managers, HR partners, and employees
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
