Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director and Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for Marriott International, Inc. in Paris. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Manage the marketing budget to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with regional marketing communications to develop and implement regional and national promotions to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement property-wide strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our target customer profile.
- Monitor and evaluate the property's participation in various sales channels and develop strong working relationships to proactively position and market the property.
Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- Preferred: 4 year college degree, demonstrated skills in supervising a team, lodging sales experience, hotel industry work experience, and a pattern of exceptional performance.
