Team Leader - Industrial Services

Job Overview:

The position reports to the Services Manager and may involve functional management duties. The primary responsibilities include acting as a functional and line management advisor, overseeing team operations, and ensuring the achievement of SQCDT (Safety, Quality, Cost, Lead Time, Team) performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

The role encompasses a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Promoting Operational Excellence (SeeD) and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Implementing necessary resources to meet established targets.
  • Organizing team structure according to specific activities.
  • Leading, coordinating, and managing team dynamics.
  • Assisting team members by providing guidance and clarification during challenges.
  • Conducting regular visual assessments of team progress.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality, safety, environmental, security, and employment regulations.
  • Contributing to human resources management tasks such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and development of high-potential individuals.
  • Facilitating the effective onboarding and integration of new team members.
  • Encouraging skill diversification within the team.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing change effectively.
  • Maintaining operational communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting anomalies, productivity discrepancies, and technical issues to the line manager.
  • Collaborating with the Service Provision Manager to develop and coordinate performance dashboards.

Reporting:

Generate activity and results reports for your area of responsibility.

Team Development:

Lead and manage a team, ensuring that employee skills align with business growth and organizational needs. Activities should be tailored for employees on work/study contracts to complement their theoretical training.

Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE):

Address and resolve QSE alerts raised by personnel, ensuring your team possesses the necessary skills for their roles (QSE training, certifications, etc.). Support the development of QSE maturity within your sector.

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing continuous improvement processes is required.
