About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at AXA. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance standards and processes within a project or team.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance standards and methodologies within the project or team.
- Test Planning and Execution: Define test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage of products or services.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and work with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes, tools, and techniques to enhance overall testing effectiveness.
- Team Management: Lead a team of QA analysts, assign tasks, and provide guidance on testing strategies and best practices.
Requirements
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, or similar systems for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium (preferred skills), Appium, or similar tools for automated testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or others, to script automated tests and understand code-based testing.
- Non-Technical Skills
- Leadership and team management: Ability to lead and mentor a team of QA analysts, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Communication and collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
