Job Description:
The Université Paris-Saclay is seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join its team. As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems, including electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues
- Document and track maintenance and repair activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in electrical technology preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including NFPA 70 and OSHA standards
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Working Conditions:
The Electrician Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, often under time pressure to resolve electrical issues. The position requires strong physical stamina, as the Electrician Technician will be required to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
