Key Responsibilities
  • Data Platform Development
    • Design and implement a robust data platform that integrates with our existing systems and tools.
    • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Cloud Data Warehouse Expertise
    • Develop and maintain our cloud data warehouse, leveraging BigQuery and other cloud-based technologies.
    • Design and implement data models, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
    • Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability.
  • Business Intelligence Development
    • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using Looker and other tools.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dbt, including its semantic layer.
  • Comfortable working in a cloud environment, with a preference for GCP.
  • Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, with a preference for Python.
  • Good ownership and prioritization of subjects.
  • Background in Math, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative studies.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Prior experience on GCP is a plus.
