Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced UFR Engineering Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all subsea engineering activities and technical subjects for the UFR package linked to the GPI.
Key Responsibilities- Review, approve, and manage all studies during EPCI phases for flowlines, risers, umbilical, and associated structures.
- Lead the design, engineering, and installation of the UFR package, including the preparation of installation drawings, equipment specifications, and procurement activities.
- Collaborate and interface with multidisciplinary teams to develop installation procedures and methodologies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for pipeline installation activities and life of field.
- Oversee the preparation of drawings, equipment specifications, and procurement activities during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
- Define, develop, issue, and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to the project's UFR package.
- Ensure that all engineering, fabrication, construction, testing, qualification pre-commissioning and commissioning aspects are suitably addressed during the different engineering phases.
- Anticipate the right supervision and control of the fabrication and testing of all UFR equipment.
- Liaise with other package teams for interface matters.
- Participate in project reviews as requested by the company's referential.
- Ensure safe working practices are used within the team along all phases of the project.
- Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the UFR Manager.
- Master's degree in Engineering, with specialization in subsea pipeline/risers or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in English and French.
- At least 15 to 20 years of experience in studies and execution phases of large offshore oil & gas projects, especially linked to UFR engineering, construction, installation, pre-commissionning and commissioning activities.
- Previous experience with major UFR contractor is a plus.
- Impeccable communication skills, ability to put issues into perspective, previous significant Project experience within a complex and multicultural environment.
