We are currently working with a client in Dole who is seeking an Economist in Construction (H/F) with a proven track record in cost estimation and financial management for construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects.
Job Description
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for estimating costs and managing the financial aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. You will develop detailed quotes and budget estimates, taking into account the specific requirements of public markets. You will also conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses, evaluating materials, labor, and equipment needs.
You will participate in tendering processes and select the best contractors to ensure optimal economic conditions. You will be responsible for writing technical documents (CCTP, DQE) and monitoring budgets, controlling expenses, and adjusting estimates as needed. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and site managers to ensure the economic viability of projects.
Requirements
You hold a degree in economics of construction, civil engineering, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in public markets. You have a good understanding of regulations and standards related to Public Reception Establishments (ERP). You are meticulous and methodical, with excellent analytical and calculation skills. You have a good knowledge of construction techniques and materials, as well as negotiation and cost optimization skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work independently as part of a team.
