Cherry Biotech is a cutting-edge biotech company that aims to revolutionize the field of in-vitro human biological models. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Web Developer Apprentice to join our team and contribute to the development of our digital platforms.

About the Role

As a Full-Stack Web Developer Apprentice, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our WordPress-based website. Your main tasks will include updating and optimizing our website, developing new features and pages, testing and integrating WordPress solutions, managing anomalies, and establishing and maintaining our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and optimize our WordPress-based website
  • Develop new features, pages, and web projects using WordPress, WP Elementor, PHP, mySQL, and other relevant technologies
  • Test, integrate, and deploy WordPress solutions
  • Manage anomalies, diagnose WordPress-related issues, and provide fixes
  • Establish and maintain our infrastructure (Google Cloud): cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, scaling, and optimization for WordPress applications
  • Create documentation to track and easily update the work done on WordPress projects
  • Participate in projects related to the digital ecosystem
  • IT equipment management and intranet support
Requirements
  • Bac+2 in IT Services
  • Completed first year of apprenticeship in a similar position
  • Solid experience with WordPress development, design, user experience (UX), and database management
  • Ability to create optimized, efficient code (HTML, CSS, JS) and script, prioritize delivering maintainable code for WordPress
  • Proven track record of being a proactive problem solver, capable of finding effective solutions
  • Design skill using software such as Indesign, Photoshop is a plus
  • English fluent speaker and good writing skills mandatory
  • Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
