Key Responsibilities:
The EMEA HR Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in addressing HR inquiries from employees and managers, providing guidance, and managing operational HR tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract modifications, and exit processes. This position also involves collaboration with various departments such as Global HR Services, HR Business Partners, HR Advisors, and Total Rewards.
- Provide second-level support for diverse HR inquiries from employees and managers, adhering to established Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain the HR Portal and contribute to the HRdirect knowledge base.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage related administrative tasks.
- Handle contractual changes, issue HR statements, and prepare verification and employment letters.
- Possess end-to-end process knowledge, identify opportunities for standardization and improvement, and support HR shared service migration initiatives.
- Communicate risks, issues, and decision-making needs back to management.
- Participate in exit procedures and benefits administration.
- Assist with administrative tasks during organizational restructurings and mergers & acquisitions.
- Solicit feedback from clients to uncover areas for enhancement.
- Build strong relationships with other HR Global Service Delivery teams, Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and other departments to facilitate effective process support.
Qualifications:
Education and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; a Master's Degree is advantageous.
- Familiarity with French employment laws and regulations.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to quality.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective planning and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently without supervision.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in international teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proficient in handling confidential information.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is essential.
Work Experience:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in an HR role.
- Background in customer service.
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment.
