Zinc Roofer

ACTUA DIJON BTP is currently seeking a Zinc Roofer (M/F) to join our team. In this role, you will be engaged in both new construction and renovation projects, focusing on the following key responsibilities:

• Project Assessment:
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify roofing and zincing requirements.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to measure the scope of work and consider technical constraints.
• Surface Preparation:
  • Ensure surfaces are adequately prepared for coverage, focusing on waterproofing and durability.
  • Install drainage systems (gutters, downpipes) in accordance with the building's design.
• Installation of Roofing Materials:
  • Apply roofing materials (tiles, slates, zinc, etc.) following industry standards and best practices.
  • Guarantee the waterproofing of roofs using suitable techniques and high-quality materials.
• Zinc Fabrication:
  • Shape and install zinc components (fascias, valleys, gutters, etc.) to facilitate rainwater drainage and protect the structure.
  • Execute precise zinc welding and assembly tasks.
• Maintenance and Repair:
  • Identify roofing and zincing issues and recommend effective repair strategies.
  • Perform routine maintenance to uphold the integrity of roofs and zinc installations.
• Safety and Quality Assurance:
  • Follow safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and safeguard personnel and property.
  • Evaluate the quality of completed work to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess a CAP/BEP in roofing, zincing, or a related field, along with substantial experience in the industry. You should be proficient in the techniques for installing roofing materials and zinc components, and comfortable working at heights.
