We are offering the opportunity to work at Airbus Atlantic, a global leader in the aerostructures industry, ranked #2 in the world, #1 in pilot seats, and in the top 3 in premium passenger seats. Our site in Toulouse is seeking a Linux HPC and Automation Infrastructure Specialist.

You will be part of the "Architecture" domain within the "Digital Architecture and Security" department, working closely with the Information System architects and various consumer departments.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To actively contribute to the adaptation and evolution of Linux and HPC infrastructures by:
  • Prototyping and monitoring technological advancements
  • Defining architectures and solutions
  • Optimizing performance: data, scheduling, and code
  • Ensuring technical and contractual relationships with suppliers
  • Participating in production incident analysis, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Managing architecture standards for your domain
  • Managing capacity planning for your area

About you:

You have at least 6 years of professional experience as an HPC architect or infrastructure engineer in high-performance environments, with the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, including architecture, operating systems, networks, storage, or virtualization
  • Mastering HPC environment architecture and design
  • Mastering NetApp storage and protocols, HPE, Puppet, Ansible, LSF, etc.
  • Cybersecurity: experience in hardening Linux OS security levels desired
  • Mastering one or more Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
  • Mastering one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Mastering Git and continuous integration philosophy
  • Experience in deploying and operating HPC clusters or large, cluster-based environments

Ideal candidates will also be familiar with DevOps and Cloud technologies, such as Azure, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and HCI (Nutanix).

You should be able to configure and modify the main services of a Linux system: DNS, DHCP, AD authentication (SSSD)

You are able to listen and understand the needs of HPC service users.

You are proficient in English (B2 minimum) and French (C2).
