Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at AB Volvo. As a key member of our global supplier network, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our purchased parts and driving continuous improvement in our supplier base.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the selection of suitable suppliers for our projects, providing quality inputs and ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Secure quality-assured product development and process readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow and challenge suppliers through continuous improvement work and a zero-default mindset.
- Build and develop a large network of partners, including suppliers, buyers, engineering, production plants, and project stakeholders.
- Preferred MSc or BSc in Engineering, with > 3 years of technical experience in supplier quality management and/or engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge and practice of automotive quality standards and tools, such as APQP & PPAP and IATF16949.
- Knowledge of specific standards and tools used in Electronics and Software areas is a plus.
- Knowledge in one or several of the following technical areas: Electronics manufacturing and SMT production line, Quality-driven Software development, Complex final assembly processes including End of Line capability, Plastic Molding Manufacturing.
- Very good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, plus local language.
- Car driving license.
