We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager- Indirect Taxation to join our team at Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in Scientific Software Engineering, in Pune, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure compliance with GST regulations, including GSTR1 & GSTR3B Returns and Refunds filed.
  • Manage and review Indirect Tax data submitted for Stat. Audit and Tax Audits, including Schedule of Taxes Paid, Reconciliation of ITC, Refunds received, and Contingent Liability on Litigations.
  • Review and manage Annual GST Returns.
  • Coordinate with Tax Office and consultants for GST Audits and manage appeals for GST/ Pre GST demands/ refund rejections.
  • Provide counsel to businesses on Indirect Tax/ GST implications of cross-border deals and business restructuring options.
  • Update litigation tracker for Indirect Tax and make risk assessments based on merits.
  • Support Direct Tax Compliance review, including WHT Tax, Advance Tax, Tax Audit, and TP Audit.

Requirements:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Cost & Management Accountant), or MBA-Finance with 4-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in managing Direct and Indirect Tax compliances.
  • Experience in assisting with assessment/appeals under Indirect Tax/GST.
  • Experience in managing routine compliance of both Direct and Indirect Tax.
  • Good knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax.
