Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Security Operations to join its global security team.
The successful candidate will report to the global Head of Trade Compliance & Security and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring global alignment and quality in relation to five global security programs: physical security, project security, travel & event security, critical national infrastructure security, and security analytics.
This is a leadership role that requires a strong strategic thinker who can set and drive security strategy globally. The ideal candidate will have extensive proven experience in managing security operations in a global setting, within government (military, police, or intelligence services), international organizations, or an international company.
Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy: Set and drive security strategy globally, horizon scanning and risk management in relation to security issues.
- Policy Development: Drafting, reviewing, maintaining, and overseeing global security regulations, policies, and processes.
- Program Management: Overseeing and ensuring global alignment and quality in relation to the five global security programs across three regions.
- Technology Management: Managing security tools and data across multiple locations, automating security processes and activities (digitalization).
- Reporting and Budgeting: Setting, overseeing, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and controlling the global security budget.
- Communication and Collaboration: Managing security-related internal or external communications and collaborating with external security stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Security, Risk Management, International Relations, or a closely related subject.
- Experience: Extensive proven experience in managing security operations in a global setting, within government (military, police, or intelligence services), international organizations, or an international company.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience in leading transformational projects, knowledge of security tools and data sources.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
Location: Hitachi Energy offices worldwide.
