Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Assistant Professor to join our esteemed team at IMT Mines Albi. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of industrial engineering education, research, and technology transfer within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Education: Actively participate in the development and delivery of innovative educational programs within our renowned CGI training program. Collaborate with dedicated faculty members to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of digital and industrial engineering principles. Supervise student projects, internships, and other cross-functional initiatives.
- Research: Integrate into our cutting-edge CGI research program, focusing primarily on the applied research axis IOS. Contribute your expertise in scientific disciplines such as RO (simulation and optimization of processes based on digital twins) and SD (data mining, process mining, and artificial intelligence). Your research should align with the center's focus on healthcare engineering.
- Technology Transfer: Demonstrate a passion for technology transfer and actively participate in existing projects or propose new initiatives that align with the CGI's thematic scope. Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to the commercialization of innovative technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses a Ph.D. in industrial engineering, computer science, or a related field. A proven track record of research excellence, publications in reputable journals, and participation in collaborative projects is essential. Strong teaching experience and excellent communication skills are highly valued.
