Research FocusOur research team is focused on understanding the mechanisms that govern genome stability in response to DNA replication stress. We investigate how nuclear organization contributes to maintaining genome stability and how replication fork repair is promoted in the yeast S. pombe. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of researchers and contribute to the development of innovative proteomic and genomic approaches.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in molecular cell biology and proteomics to understand genome stability and replication fork repair
- Develop and implement innovative proteomic and genomic approaches to study nuclear organization and genome stability
- Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments
- Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of data
- PhD in biology, cellular biology, or related areas
- Experience in yeast genetics, molecular cell biology, and proteomics
- Strong scientific expertise in the field of genome stability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English and French (desirable)
